School Chale Hum...

Every Government talks about raising the level of education..It has a special mention in our Constitution enshrined in article 21A, 30 etc…but today I would like to share a “experience of school” of one child…he was not good in studies but anyhow he got admission in one of the good school of that time…but schoolwhat he faced on the first day was shocking for him…when he entered the class, nobody was ready to offer him a seat…atlast, he got a seat of the last bench sitting alone the whole day…but he was curious to know why even the single student didn’t offered him a seat…anyways he moved on and forgot those things…but as he was not a meritorious student, he faced another discrimination…DISCRIMINATION from the group of brilliant students of that class…whenever he asked for any help regarding studies, not a single student among them tried to lend a helping hand, friendship to dur ki baat thi…they only do friendship with those who are good at studies…but that child moved on and that child was “ME”…I am quite sure manystudent face such difficulties in school…Is it right to judge anyone on the basis of its appearance, knowledge??? Today when Ilook on those meritorious students, what special they have done in their life compared to me (except few of them)..Are they all IITians, IIMs pass out??? They are still working in any private firms, few of them got married and are busy managing their families…thanks to those “BACKBENCHERS” who taught me not care about these people and live life according to our own terms and conditions.
On that note I would like to say that Government should not only focus on providing compulsory education but have such mechanism in place which raises the quality of education…every Child is unique..some are good at studies but others have interest in sports, drawing, debate, etc. It is the responsibility of Government and School Management to give special attention to each and every student and help him/her grow in the field of their uniqueness. The role of counselling is very important in school but it has been used only in thoughts…EVERY CHILD ONCE HE/SHE COMPLETES SCHOOL MUST HAVE SOMETHING GOOD TO SHARE…THE IRONY IS THAT I DON’T HAVE A SINGLE THING TO TELL ANYONE!!!
